This would be great news if it’s true.

I'm guessing much stronger than a standard block for sure. Is it 4 bolt mains, cross bolted like a Hemi?

    Motor Mounts

Getting some great advice here as always. I am using a poly spool mount on the trans. I'll be getting back to work on the car this weekend,so look forward to more input.

    Motor Mounts

So from what you guy's are saying,I should be able to run solid mounts on both sides with a spool trans mount and not break tail shaft housings?

    Motor Mounts

I'm using a spool mount on the trans. The reason I have a rubber mount on the passenger side is with my '69 Charger big block bracket car,I kept breaking tail shaft housings with steel mounts on both sides. Bob Mazzolini told me to go back to a rubber mount on the passenger side, never broke...

    Oil Accumulator Install

I wouldn't want it inside the car. Plan to use the electric valve on it so not having to turn it on and off manual. Right now I'm thinking top of pass. side inner fenderwell. Maybe down on the top of the frame rail. Hoped someone might have some pics of their install. It's a 340 stroker motor,so...

    Checking Sprag

Thanks for all the info. Dropped the pan this afternoon, all looks normal. It's a fresh rebuild, only run on jack stands & around the pits for warm up. First hit got the u-joint. I'll be pulling it for a tear down & add a billet drum. Who's a good source for a billet drum?

    Checking Sprag

    Checking Sprag

So really no way to check the sprag other than taking the trans back down? I kinda thought that lol Knowing there are some really smart members on here I just wondered if it could be checked in the car.

Yeah I've seen the results when they let go,not pretty. I'm trying to avoid pulling the trans, with my setup I have to pull the motor with the trans:(

    Checking Sprag

I just got my new Dart bracket car ready for it's first test & tune. Wanted to make a couple of shake down passes off the footbrake before going to the transbrake. At the first hit,it broke the rear u-joint instantly,it was a 1350 to stock Dana conversion joint. Is there any way to check the...

What front tire and rim size is best on an a body bracket car?

Mine's a bracket only car,no street time. Just wondering if the front would skate around with the radials.

What front tire and rim size is best on an a body bracket car?

Not to high jack the thread....Can I run MT sportsman radial fronts with Hooiser bias ply slicks without a problem? Always heard not to mix radial's & bias ply tires.

    Crankcase Evac Setup

I always put mine in the extentions as close to the flange as I can.

    Crankcase Evac Setup

I've always run my evac systems with closed valve covers, that is to say nothing but the evac breathers,no other breathers. Am I correct in my thinking?

    Remote Filter Mounting

I had mine mounted there, just a little higher up & flipped over to remove the filter, used AN fittings & hose. Still got some oil spill on the frame & headers. I was thinking of moving it to the frame rail.

    Remote Filter Mounting

Thanks for the reply J par. I had the same thoughts about ease of filter changes, oil on headers etc. Ran one for years on my big block car & liked it. Agree it could just be the cause of potential leaks,so I'm rethinking using it for sure.

    Roll cage kits?

I've used a few S&W kits on b-bodies and just installed one of their 8 point kits in my '69 Dart. Main hoop fit great, all tubes were notched just cut them to length. I got the Pro Street rear runners, plus they send you the standard rear runners in the kit. I used the extra rear runner tubing to...
