I wouldn't want it inside the car. Plan to use the electric valve on it so not having to turn it on and off manual. Right now I'm thinking top of pass. side inner fenderwell. Thanks for all the info. Dropped the pan this afternoon,all looks normal. It's a fresh rebuild,only run on jack stands & around the pits for warm up. First hit got the u-joint. I'll be pulling it for a tear down & add a billet drum. Who's a good source for a billet drum?

Yeah chunks aint good lol I'm gonna drain & pull the pan tomorrow.

So really no way to check the sprag other than taking the trans back down? I kinda thought that lol Knowing there are some really smart members on here I just wondered if it could be checked in the car.

It's a fresh built trans with a bolt in sprag.

Yeah I've seen the results when they let go,not pretty. I'm trying to avoid pulling the trans,with my setup I have to pull the motor with the trans:(

Not to high jack the thread....Can I run MT sportsman radial fronts with Hooiser bias ply slicks without a problem? Always heard not to mix radial's & bias ply tires.

I always put mine in the extentions as close to the flange as I can.

I've always run my evac systems with closed valve covers,that is to say nothing but the evac breathers,no other breathers. Am I correct in my thinking?

I had mine mounted there,just a little higher up & flipped over to remove the filter,used AN fittings & hose. Still got some oil spill on the frame & headers. I was thinking of moving it to the frame rail.

Thanks for the reply J par. I had the same thoughts about ease of filter changes,oil on headers etc. Ran one for years on my big block car & liked it. Agree it could just be the cause of potential leaks,so I'm rethinking using it for sure.
