The brace/crossmember is supposed to go all the way across the car in the 4 speed, just like in the automatic. When installing a 4 speed hump you only take the sheet metal off on top of it, the rods go over the crossmember.

I have installed schumacher ones last year. I took a look at them yesterday and they already have slight cracks. I'm not sure if thats normal or not. I hope they last a good 10 years though, they were kind of a pain to install.

I like the 70-71 best but i allready have a nice 72 grill so im going to do this: I think its a really nice way to paint up the 72 grill to be very awesome looking.

fenders are just normal fenders. The hood would be worth going with if you didn't want to go with a fiberglass hood but wanted some weight loss.

did you try a 6 point socket yet? if the appropriate 6 point size doesn't work you might be able to go with something just slightly smaller and beat it on. I had that work with a rounded lug nut, vice grips didn't do **** in that situation. good luck.

The bumper brackets from the 71-72 bumper should work with the 73 car. Its going to look a little weird if you still have the 73 front end though.

i put a 72 4 door clip on my 73. the only issue i ran into was one of the A/c pieces hit up front. im either going to notch it out so it clears or move it to the 72 location. other than that its an easy swap.

I asked a friend about doing this and he said to cut the old seal. I havent gotten around to doing the window seal yet though. To get those wiper pivot busings on i used a socket extension and a dab of dish soap.

well my 73 signals have a hole where the rubber wire piece goes through and then another hole where a coarse thread screw goes through. on the 72 theres a hole for the wire and then a really big hole where the 73 had a tiny one of the coarse screw.

I converted my 73 dart to a 72 nose. My turn signal indicators, the ones that go on the top of the fender by the hood. My 73 ones dont work in my 72 fenders. Im curious as to witch ones fit the 72 fenders. I was just on ebay and people were saying 70-74 were the same!? im really confused here...

Maybe cut the header panel so its not so pointy and get a valliant/duster bumper 73-76 version or modiify your bumper. The grill might be the tough part. If a duster/valliant grill fit that would be better than the pointy grill. I hope you go through with it all, i was going to do the same...

i think you should do something to the text. the stripe looks great but the text is such a generic font/style. maybe a slightly chunkier text? maybe angle it. just my thoughts its your car if you like it that way by all means do it.

you could do something like the AAR cuda stripe but as a bumble be stripe.
