Broken studs slant 6 ex manifold

Try welding a nut to it. Usually the heat from the weld will loosen it up enough to get it out. Or like Moparkid said easier to take to a machine shop!

    Homemade oil pump drive assembly?

I have a junk dizzy that I can use to cut the bottom off and plug the center up, that should do the trick. This is gonna be the first time I have truly built up a /6 they way I want. The last engine that I built up was a 440 in my 68 New Yorker that I had and that was back in late 80, so I am...

    Homemade oil pump drive assembly?

:banghead: I think I got's myself a lil' bit tired n was thinkin' of gm products (wifeys 51 ford has a 283 in it and was working on it), went back n reviewed the internals on the /6 then realized the dizzy didn't have anything to with pumping the oil! I got to quit staying up till sunrise! And...

    Homemade oil pump drive assembly?

Has anyone out here in /6 land ever made an oil pump drive assembly out of an old distributor? What I mean by this is: Has anyone taken a distributor, cut it down just to run the drive gear for the oil pump? I REALLY liked what this guy has done to the slant and wonder what he did with the old...

2 cylinders not firing - head off - help!

Have him fill the valve area's as well to see if the WD40 leaks past the valve's. It's possible that you could have a bad valve to seat seal or a bent valve causing the leak, or a stuck valve. You could also get some valve grinding compound and hand lap the valve's to see if they are seating...

    EFI Bung in head update

If I remember right, I read somewhere that the chevy vette had a fuel Injection system that had the return built into the filter that was before the regulator. Might have to look that one back up.

    Flushing a Slant 6

And since you have the pan off, I would unscrew the pickup tube and back flush it with a good solvent, or gasoline, either cost just as much anymore. Lot's of junk can build up on that screen! Oh, and pay attention to your location of the screen i.e TAKE A PICTURE of it before you take it off!

    Parallel two barrel slant help

http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=2857 Here are some picks of my super six conversion. I used the cable and pedal assy off my 76 Aspen. Built a plate for where the shaft went through the firewall. Don't know if this will help or not.

    What is this?

Looks like the one I just converted from off of my 63 Valiant /6. It used a rod from the gas pedal to the carb. Found my numbers on the body, kit for it was 16.95 float was 14

    Throttle on a 63 Dart 170

Yep, recognized the aluminum manifold, missed the 1bbl! Hey, guess that gives him a chance to upgrade to a Super6! Find a donor car and get it all! (Or you could convert it to a 2X2 offy!) #-o

    Throttle on a 63 Dart 170

Hey Frank, isn't that an aluminum super 6 intake on this thing? Looks like it was converted without supporting the rod at the firewall which would put the assembly in a bind. When I did the super 6 conversion on my 63 Valiant I used all of the throttle assy including the gas pedal from the donor...

    offenhauser intake question

Thought they might have been, been looking at the Dutra's or making my own. Honestly thought that Clifford might treat people better than that, was really looking at buying thier head, but will think twice now, if thier customer support is not any better than that.

    offenhauser intake question

Is that a 63 Valiant that you have that that set up in? If it is what kind of headers are those? I just bought the 2X2 Offy of of dart64gt and was thinking of putting this set up on my V200 but tried my single header and could not get it to clear between the steering and the tranny. BTW Nice...
