Thanks Alan. That's at least one vehicle I can look to source one from. Just realized I'm actually going to need two eventually because I'm putting a 2bbl on the slant 6. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Totally not a performance build and I like the look of them without any snorkel. Recently found one on a truck with a slant 6 in the local yard, now I want one for my 318 with a BBD on it. Does anyone know if these even exist? If so, what vehicle should I be looking for? Thanks in advance!

I completely agree Rick. It's a shop truck that we use for deliveries at our manufacturing business. One of those "should leave well enough alone". I'll likely do that and leave the "tinkering" for the hot rod projects.

Its actually on a 318 so the intake ports of the heads would need to be opened up to match the 360 intake. What about 318 manifolds...any "better" ones? I should just leave the thing alone...Lol.

I know, 4 barrel is where its at... Lets assume for some reason, someone wanted to stick with a 2 barrel on a 318 build, using an OE cast iron manifold. Is there a specific manifold that would be better than others? I've read tidbits about 360 2V intakes being dual plane and having larger...

Most people would **** if they saw how much epoxy is used in race heads...stuff will not come apart or unbond from the material. I'd never worry about using epoxy at all..its easier to grind on than metal also. :)

We run 450 lbs seat pressure, and 1200 lbs open on our race motor! :)

Pressure of any fluid is based off of that fluids viscosity...as the engine oil warms, the pressure will drop. Just the way it is.
