they have got to be kidding, seems like some thing that's not needed, especially for the price. for that kind of money you can take an advanced course in welding and become certified.

you have to look hard to see it but I cut mine back to the firewall and welded a washer on to it to help stabilize the shaft.

what you will be doing is leaving the outside portion of the frame and cutting out the inside and back out. leave the stock bracket on to measure off of. you can drill a hole using it as a guide to help keep everything lined up also.

i had to cut the bottom of the seat frame to get it attached to the bracket on the floor and push real hard to get it hooked.

clean that crud off really good and bolt them on like in the pic. drive to welder and have him weld it on.
