I didn't, stays put just fine, I send the laying it down in the sun, definitely helped the installation!

I'd suggest that too, I had to replace my windshield and it just seems so tight that if you don't know exactly what your doing you could make more problems then what you started out with! If you NEED to take out the dash then I'd suggest removing the windshield...WAY easier...

I just let the carpet sit in the car for a few weeks in the heat while I did other things to the Dart. It took more of a shape that way, but I was also in no hurry to install it. Always leave a LITTLE extra so when you go to really button down things you can use a razor blade and wont have a ton...

Sweet, then I'll definitely do it that way, I would have never thought of using a dark blue or green before the black, but it makes sense to so the color is applied on a darker base.

yeah, I was skeptical because I wasn't sure how durable the dye would be or if it would just rub off within a month of use.

Has anyone done it? What did you use? I found some bucket seats but they're grey (I want them black to match the interior). I'm not sure how successful dying the leather would be...

HAHA, if I was around in the 70's I would have horded every seat track I found in the junkyard. btw, because I'm sure everyone one is wondering, how much for the seats and/or just the tracks if you decide to go bench?

Alright, just got some RAAMmat and was doing this all weekend...and I will say....you all made this look way too easy. Either I'm a contour freak or it wasn't hot enough out, but my RAAMmat job looks like Frankenstein, lol. I'll have to post some pics when I get home so you can laugh at me!

I ended up cutting one of my dashes and was really happy with how it looked. It's your car, if you can make a clean/factory looking cut, then go for it. I also have an AC woodgrain dash from a '71 that's goin in my '70 and I am very reluctant to cut it...I may make something to go on the hump...

meh, no one sees it, its under the carpet, it helps reduce noise and helps your tunes sound much better on the inside!
