    But the #s on the pan rail start with a 0(zero) so it would be used for a 70 car, right.

    That's a 70 motor and not original to your car. The last few #s on the block should match the last few #s on your vin. Sorry to break the news to you.

    I have set of side and tail stripes on my 73 duster 340 that I bought from him. First time I put stickers on like that, but I couldn't be happier. Very easy and look great. I can't pics right now as my car is in hibernation for the winter. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Very happy...

    There other #s o the front of the block below the heads. There's also the vin# on the pass. Side down by the oil pan rail.
