    Who has ordered a passon A-855 ?

Yep, nothing ever seems to go as quickly as you would like it to especially with with something almost too good to be true such as this....although in this case it's so good we just can't wait long enough for it to become true....does that make sense? Only an honorable person would put out a...

4 spd with bucket seat and no center console.

I got high back buckets because the low backs were just not comfortable for me, and I like the idea of of always having a seat behind your head in case someone plows you from behind. I got hit twice from behind and miffed up my neck pretty bad. The high back seats are super comfy compared...

4 spd with bucket seat and no center console.

It will look like a 4 speed with no console. My car had no console and I really wanted one so I made one. I've made a few of these for members here and on other forums.

Any way to change 3.91 rear-end to ???

Change out the chunk with a 3.23 ratio and keep the wicked 3.91 chunk for fun or sell it here in a heartbeat to fund your 3.23 gear set.

Highway RPM with the 200R4. Gotta love it!

I needed that the other day when the mustang with two more gears wanted to race on the highway. I pulled away from him but had to back down at top rpmwhile he had two more gears to play with....bye, bye.

8 3/4 oil and limited slip additive suggestions?

Most auto parts stores carry Lucas brand 80w90' non synthetic. On the label it says it's good for all limited slip applications and does not require any special additives. I am running this effectively in my clutch style 4:10s.

67 Barracuda Rear End Swap Advice Needed

Swap it for an a body 8-3/4rear with a set of 3.23's. Perfect all around gear set. How tall of a tire are you gonna run? If you are real intent on an a body rear I may swap mine for your Dana but you will need a center section since I just sold my 3.23's. My rear has dual spring...

Are 3.55 gears a good choice?

I'll take those 3.91s from you.

Are 3.55 gears a good choice?

A cheaper alternative may be to bolt on a set of taller tires for longer trips. You would be surprised how much tire diameter affects rpm. A 30" tire may actually make the 3.91's much more highway friendly but still have the punch you need off the line. They work well for me with this combo...

what rear would you go with

I've used the 3.23 gear set and the 3.91 hear set. The 3.23 is a great all around gear which may not be slammin you in the seat off the line but it's still a good gear that you can still blow people off the line with, and your highway rpms are much more friendly with the 3.23s. I currently...

    Whats everyone running for gears?

Was using 3.23's for a while and decided to borrow a buddy's 3.91's for a while and NO, I don't wanna give them back. I was cruising at 2200 rpm at 65 mph with the 3.23's but with the 3.91's I'm around 2800 rpms at 65 MPH. not bad but I can feel the difference and it took a bit bit getting used...

    Narrowed A body rear questions.

I am currently running a stock sized a body rear with mini tubs and relocated springs. I guess I should have asked what is the most narrow rear I can run with the deepest dish wheel? I am currently running 29x12.5x15 tires on a 10" wheel but I want a deeper dish as I have a 7.5" backspace so a...

    Narrowed A body rear questions.

I am thinking of getting a narrowed rear end to put in my minitubbed 67 Barracuda. Question: (1). How narrow can I go with the 3" relocation and minitub? (2). How deep of a backspace wheel is needed? (3). Anyone have one set up and ready to go? I currently have a stock A body 8-3/4 rear end...

    3.55 or 3.91

3.55's or maybe 3.73's? I'm thinking 3.91's would be sweet but yeah the RPM's will annoy the hell out of your road trips specially when some idiot in a supra wants to race at highway speeds.LOL.

    school me on drivetrain tech

Yeah they are like gold now days, but if you ever want to shorten the axles and mini tub the car to put wide, deep dish wheels in the back, sell the A body unit uncut and buy a B body rear end and shorten that so as to not ruin a desirable A-body housing, but do what you want with it if it's...

    Sticky Shifter

I'm wondering if the throwout bearing isn't making some contact when disengaged. You said you have 1 inch of pedal play, but I'm not sure that with your diaphragm style clutch that the play is an indicator that the t/o bearing is fully disengaging. Did you remove the over the center spring...

    Clutch Recommendation Please

C/F dual friction, not too close to stock ha, ha. I'd call Brewers performance and get their recommendations.
