In are area there was 3 darts and 1 barracuda all 69s.The bet was the two darts that had the red engines were 273,s and some put 4bbl,s on them.Come to find out they were all 340 engines.The differance was the 2 darts were early models that had red engines and the other dart and the barracuda...

Hi guys I am back working on the car.I finished the brake system,fuel system,and today I did the clutch.That was a bear.Tomorrow I will put the driveshaft in and try to move it.It will be the Frost time this car will move under it,s own power.I am looking forward to this.I will take some pic,s too.

I love that barracuda.I was going to do a costom stripe until I saw the 69 stripe(in the pic).I was thinking of putting 500 where the 340 go,s and on the drivers side make it streight through where the fuel fill went.Just a thought. Mark

Hay redfish,Took a headlight bezel up to the car to see what the differance was between the 67 and the 69 fenders.The 69 fender has the hole for the marker and two tabs for mounting the 69 bezel.The only thing I have to do is take the two tabs off and close up the marker holes. Mark

I heard the same thing about the 69 fenders.But trying to find fenders in this shape is almost imposable.I need fenders like this because I can,t do body work.Some people say they don,t fit and some say they do.We will find out.If it,s the tabs I can make them.I hope someone reads this and chime...

This is some progress of my car.I haven't been on hear updating my car.I have done alot of work 2hrs a day and 8hrs on Saturday and Sunday.I have the engine almost ready to start.I have to finish the fuel system.I am also finishing the right side wheel tubs.It is starting to look like a car again.

Thanks brad.The headers are custom made for the SR heads.They are 2 1/4" . I wanted chassis headers but at the time no one made them. Mark

I know what you mean but when I was getting parts together nobody made headers for the Indy-SR heads.These are costom made.I am trying to figure out how I am going to do the exhaust. Mark

The engine is a 500ci from a 440.All the goodies in it,edelbrock str14,Indy 440sr heads,6speed viper trans.and a 8 3/4 with 4.56s.I have a dana from a 70 roadrunner that I am going to have cut down but I don,t if it will A body stock length or not. Mark
