What would be a method to remove the rust between the underhood bracing and outer sheetmetal ?

I never understood on the '67 why the factory put the stainless trim on the rear glass and that lockstrip junk on the front.

Last I checked into this for my '67 dart, there is none. I bought the stainless trim for a '68 dart from a member here. The clips and screw to hold the trim on can be bought many places. Here is an ebay link to the clips if you decide to go that route...

Always wondered why no one paints the roof of a car that they are covering with vinyl. Seems to me it would seal the metal better and help prevent rust. Or am I missing something?

My Dart will be getting a full drivers side quarter panel replacement in the future. Mt 67 Dart has the trim on the sides. Since the new quarter won't have the studs( I know they can be added) I have considered removing all the trim from the sides of the car. What is the best way to get rid of...

The cable on my 67 Dart is 17".

No problems with that here. I have my son get in the car and hold the pedal to the floor, then I adjust the cable.

My 67Dart came with a 273 with a 2 barrel from the factory. I pulled it and put in a 340 with Eddie air gap 4 barrel intake, then a six pack setup and used the same factory throttle cable on each setup.

I thought the factory cars had small studs that the trim clips snapped onto?

I am converting my '67 Dart windshield gasket and trim to '68 Dart gasket and stainless trim. Anyone know where I can get the studs that go around the windshield that the clips attach to?

Is that for the switch or the light socket. I see the tab for the switch in the corner of the trunk opening.

My Dart did not have a factory trunk light in it. I am going to try and locate a factory unit for it. I see the tab in the corner for the switch but were does the light itself mount?

Oh, I have, and they ain't cheap. But I did find one from PST ( they advertise her on FABO ) for $94 shipped. About $50 to $80 cheaper than everyone else, depending on who you call.

What is so different about the tie rod ends on a 67 Dart? They are all more expensive than the 68 and up ends. 67 has the same lower ball joint as 68 and up but a more expensive outer tie rod end. Does the tie rod end have a different thread on the other end? What about the inners also? I know...

I just brought home a 67 Dart and was wondering if if there is such a thing as a passenger side mirror. If not what about the '68 and up models? If so does anyone here have some for sale?
