Just bought another dump truck windshield on passenger side looks like the wiper was ran with grits on it..anybody know of a polish or way to get the windshield back looking ok..small little marks

here are the pics of my spay bomb job..lol i didnt finish the truck area yeat but did the outer edge where the weather strip go..plan to finish it 1 day this week..it matched the color pretty close i think...

i sprayed this with rust o lium turned out pretty good,and the ruck is done now..it has some dust from the sanding and primer and all but will post pics of it when i down load the new 1's taped everything up really good an spray..lol your looks great ....i didnt even think about rolling it on...

you can get some good wax from the truck stop to clean it after you have done all this and sanded... i use the same wax on my truck tanks and wheels..i all so have a trim that goes over the grill in my dart that i will polish out with the wax..if you are not close to a truck stop harbor freight...

the hood is not factory but i do still have the factory hood to go back on it..mike:D

the car has the body work done to it...but i know once i spray the primer i will find a few spots that need to be touched up or i just over looked....also i dont plan to paint it(color) it until i get the motor in it....i wanted to take care of the body work and primer then stuff the 400 in...

what primer do you guys like to use??? i am at the point i need to prime my car and finish up any extra body work that pops out....my buddy has some dupli-color primer but you have to add a reducer to it....i dont know anything about this stuff as this is my first body,and paint job.....car will...

it may not be perfect but that press with a some solid steel under it in the right place, and some steel in the top at the right place :toothy8: will get most of it out...it will look better then it does now with little work...

try a good size shop press a little at the time :toothy8:

dont see this color much..looks great when clean with the blck hood..and thats the factory paint..

im on a budget as well my dart has rust on both side and the driver side being the best side i got a old door and cut out a patt. from the 1 i cut off the car with the russt init and formed it to it look like the qt.patch i needed ended up looking like it suppose to and didnt spend a dime on it...

i would think that the pump would work better close to the tank as a pusher not a puller up in the bay....some of the pros will chime in im sure but thats where my pump is been there for yrs now no problems hay there you go ram was typing as i was typing hahaha

in my 70 duster it has a few holes about 2/3" big and i want to repair instead of replace what gauge should be used...i thought about cutting out some floor of a junk car but i have some sheet metal thats i think 24..
