I run twin 1/2'' tin can filters behind the tank , (two fuel outlets) before the fuel inj. pump. I`m jealous of that HEMI !!

Clearancing a pan has become normal , cut the corner out a little to clear , make a patch out of the same metal thickness , have it heli arced , no big deal---------

4 times the trouble to make it run right , = expensive ----------jmo

I think most of lasting longer has to do with overdriven transmissions , it is like not putting as many miles on the engine -----------less rpm.

reminds me of , back when I was raceing a hemi , a couple of guys told me to go look at a 65ish , beat all to hell , white ford pick up , fenders flopping and all. It had a very good running 426 hemi in it (street car) . I told them it was like finding a gold brick in a bucket of s---- !!

Not a hemi , I agree all the way, but, my used TTI headers fit perfect , all I had to do is straighten the beat up and crushed tubes from the previous owner .

Got it . My shroud and rad. was so thick on mine "before I cut it down" , I had to run a shorty filter . but were probly around 6 1/2-7 '' . Or , whats ur name little guy !??
