    disk brake help please...

    disk brake help please...

My disk brakes are '73+. When I install the flexible brake hose from the caliper to the bracket on the frame, the hose has to be snaked around the shock. This is good as long as I am turning hard in one direction. If I turn in the other direction, the hose is tight against the shock. The...

Can anyone shed light on parking brake cables.. ?

For the last couple of years I have tried to understand what type of cables I need for my parking brake system. I know there are three basic sections. The front, the middle and rear that connects to the drums. The cables are sold in various lengths and I have measured mine and not found a...

Hopefully, I will be installing this unit this week. I was reading the manual over last nigh and I notice that it requires an extra plate against the firewall. Do I need this or can I just make it out of a piece of flat steel ? Thanks Ian.

    Installation of the calipers

72Blunble, Cool :) I would never have guessed. It would help if this stuff from NAPA came with instructions. Is it OK the have a snug fit between the pads and rotor ? I haven't added the brake lines to the calipers yet so there may be a bit of fluid stopping the piston from going in any...

    Installation of the calipers
