push button trans. leaks by cable

You are on the right track, o-rings and removing the pan. Just mark or tape your cable adjuster or it can be a pain to get readjusted.

    '70 Chrysler 300 8 3/4???

Although it's only got a measly slant six making it go round. I'd rather KNOW that my mild built /6 and PB904 w TF2 kit won't smash my spiders and leave me thumbing it.

Thanks guys, I do realize it will have to be cut and modded to fit, but it's got to be a hundred times better that the original 7 1/4".

    '70 Chrysler 300 8 3/4???

I have a lead on one for $200, is it worth it?(obviously I will inspect its mechanical intergrity) What are the major differences between cases and what not. I always see guys talk about this case and that case but it's like they're speaking Chinese. It's open and that's all I know other than...

/6 904 to fit small block?

Let me correct myself by saying that was for an average slant. May be 2k-2.5k behind a v8, like Dan says, no real way of telling. Unless it's in the car and you do the 'ol stomp test.

    Torqueflite governors

Yes, they are spring actuated so unless you change the spring rate in the gov it will always shift the same or less depending on throttle input. ,Cliff

    904 build cost

The one tool that made the biggest difference was a hydraulic press, to squeese the clutch springs and replace the preasure plate seals. Other that that it was all hand tools and a lil elbow greese. I thought for sure that springs, ball bearings and irreplacible parts were going to fly...

    904 build cost

Rebuilt my own for $210 total, $130 master kit and $80 TFII kit. Plus whatever new fluids cost. This was my first trans rebuild and I must say it was way easier that I thought. I also bought a ATSG book for specs and guidance that shows you how to make special tools if needed. ,Cliff
