You will need to now tire size and rear gear. There is a chart here somewhere.

The car will only start in park due to the neutral safety switch. Start car and let warm up. Then shift into neutral with parking break on(for safety) check fluid then. You may have lost more then you think and possibly when you pulled the engine fluid drained from the TC.

Did you check the fluid while in neutral and the car warmed up? Just an thought.

Make a wire and splice together or go and buy a 1 prong safty switch from your local parts store. Maybe somebody here has an extra one? Good luck. Thats a 727 in the picture and it worked fine.

There should be a wire with a eyelet style connector coming from the wire harness. I think its brown or brown with yellow. Hook it up to this:

I always use the least exspensive Car Quest name brand in my 904 tranny, 64 Dart170. It will depend on the application. Will you be racing, towing,hill climbing.....hmmmm:-k. Anyway I dont race mine other then the occasional green light 1-2 chirp.:-D

I just installed my rebuilt 904 with new converter and it took a about 9 quarts. Good luck with the install, it shouldnt take to much time. When I pop my first cool one today I'll be thinking about yah.

If it's a small block it will take 16 pints for a regular pan.
