    Rotate the 90* filter mount to face the filter forwards and then turn the steering wheel to the left all the way to open up the opening by the steering linkage? I had oldschool fw headers like those and it worked perfectly for my 66....

    You're welcome, just be sure to use flat blade screwdriver to slip into the lip of the clips in a manner that tries to open the clip rather than drag it off the housing.

    Not sure how you're dash is or how that tach mounts or if you care about covering a factory gauge or two. Pictured is what I have done on my 66 Cuda with limited space. I'm doing wire harness change so ignore the mess.

    From my experiences with them, I leave the tube connected to the car for removal AND reapplication. You will have as some corrosion / build-up on the tube that extends into the gas tank just past the grommet seal as some have already mentioned. You will also want to pull the tank while twisting...

    Not sure if the normal speedometer is same as a 66, but this o-ring fit mine and doesn't leak at all.

    Tailshaft bushing worn out? I too have the mild vibration, and can push up and down on the driveshaft and get a tiny bit of play front and rear u-joint. I'll be replacing them for the hell of it when I am caught up replacing bent valves on my '04 Pacifica. :banghead:
