    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

I kept from buying them just because I wasn't sure if I would like them, and I ended up buying a set of .920 bars for about the price of the pst bars. I think I may be selling them now...

    Torsion bars

I noticed a big difference in handling going from a slant to a 360 in my old Dart. The handling went to crap. I had the hd slant 6/318 bars. Later on, I swapped to 340 bars-backwhen they were like $130--and I really didn't notice a difference.

    Dillinger Upper Control Arms

Yes to all. Guilty. Be gentle. lol I guess I just accepted it when he told me, I had to get the car moved and those were the only arms I had. Had alot going on at the time, he gave me an answer and I went with it. I ddont get to do much with the car they are on, so I usually only remember...

    Dillinger Upper Control Arms

I bought one of the last sets he made, and I have no complaints about the quality, although I have yet to drive on them. I do, however, have a question, andits been nagging me for months. I bought them with the poly bushings, which were Prothane, and had no outer shell. When you put them in...

    Numbers On The K-Frame?

I just wirewheeled my 72 Demon K, and there are some numbers in the very front right about where the washer would be on a 340 k member.

    Rear suspension too stiff

This, I already knew. I was never late for work, even when I was.

    Rear suspension too stiff

I never thought of it before, but to me it makes sense. Unless its a bushed mounting point, I guess, nothing in a suspension should be "fixed" or held in place without some type of movement. Those individual leaves still move, I think all the center bolt does is keep them moving together. It...

    strut rod problem

I'm with them, if locking 2 nuts together on the control arm end so you have something to put a wrench on to keep it all from turning doesn't work, I would split/cut the nut off. I have run into the same situation a few times, putting the control arm back on might work, but when I tried it, I...

    Lower Ball Joint How to?

I'm interested in a write-up with pics. I have a 97 Explorer awd that I am going to tackle in a week or so. Uppers (the whole control arm!), lowers, and tie rods. By the way, if you didn't get them already, google some Advance Auto promo codes. I used one code, trt41 I think, twice now, and I...

Tie Rod Ends Hitting Torrsion Bars????

Did you use the same torsion bars as before also? Same ride height? Seems odd to me too, I will be watching, and I'm going to check my cars to see how close they are.

steering and handeling help, 73 duster

Also, did you go over your k-member really well before you reassembled the suspension? How bad were the old parts worn? Sometimes they are extremely hard to see, but you may have cracks around where the lca pivot goes. That can cause your alignment to be unstable, and might be perfect on the...

steering and handeling help, 73 duster

From everything I have read, and experienced, unless everything is factory spec stuff, like rubber bushings, etc, you will have to "tune" your suspension to your car. Thats why this time around, I purchased tubular uca, adjustable strut rods, boxed my lower control arms, and my k-member is...

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

Im not usually one to comment on threads like this, but I agree wholeheartedly with the above statement. To think that car parts, or a business, etc, is more important than family, shows a huge level of selfishness, immaturity, and inexperience with life in general. My .02 cents...now Im broke.

Firm feel reinforcement plates worth it?

I made my own lca reinforcement plates from an old dart bumper I had laying around, some cutting wheels on my angle grinder, and a 1 1/4 hole saw. Make sure you clamp the end with the pivot together before you weld, if it is separated at all. I will also be making my own sway bar tabs, might get...

    Tubular UCA fitment questions

Thanks for the pic! That's what I gotta do then. Also, thanks for the info, I feel much better about trimming it now. I'll get some pics when I do it and post it on my build thread, just so anyone else with the question has something to reference to. My brother suggested doing the same, I'm...

    Tubular UCA fitment questions

Before I trim the metal, I just wanted to get some opinions. The rundown: 1973 Dart Sport 340, I am putting it together to move it to my new house. Figured it was a great time to see how my new parts look! Lol The part, or rather, installation, involves the ucas I got from Badart...

Mini-tub with fold down seat? Pics?

I can't wait to get my car to my new house, then I can crawl around and see what I would have to do! Kinda think its might be a little hard, since it has plastic pieces over the wells, etc. Maybe someone can prove me wrong??

Mini-tub with fold down seat? Pics?

Thinking of a mini-tub/spring relocation on my Dart Sport with a fold down rear seat. I haven't really looked real close at what is involved, yet, but I thought I would ask to see if anyone has done it, how it turned out, and some pictures!

Man that car is awesome. Same year and color of my first car! I sold mine 2 years ago, never finished it. Here is a pic of my stance, 340 t-bars and 205/70-14 in the front, and mp super stock springs with 235/60-15 in the back.

    Sand-blast vs Wire-wheel

Here is my experience with blasting. Been doing it almost every day for over 6 years now, at work I use a HUGE cabinet, at home I just have a small old sears siphon feed bucket. When I first started, I used play sand in the small one at home, and I got good results, but I wasn't really...
