Well, the time has come. Sold my Duster.

I just can't bring myself to put the badges back on it. I have them all including the 400 Magnum ones from the fenders but it's so clean without them. I thought if I got the bulge hood I'd put them on it.

    Isn't 'Cuda a model, not a nickname?

Like the model of 1917 rifle is not a P-17! It is a conversion of the contracted Pattern 14 rifle converted to American use from caliber .303 to 30-06. Pattern or P-14 is a British designation. I also have a 73 E body badged inside and out "Cuda" but there are also base model Barracudas and...

Weird Action from my 66 cuda..

Might also check and see if the bell crank on the kickdown on the manifold linkage is rubbing or wiggling wires at the bulkhead connector. May also have a loose connector at the bulkhead that has the yellow ground wire in it for the starter relay....

Weird Action from my 66 cuda..

Something is wiggling the wire to the neutral safety switch and the only way the gas pedal could realistically be doing so is via the kick down. May be a loose connector or a wire routing issue. You can eliminate the switch itself by seeing if it still won't start in gears other than park or...

Weird Action from my 66 cuda..

Neutral safety switch may be getting a bump from the kickdown linkage. Try readjusting the neutral safety switch. Or see if the wire is loose and rubbing on the linkage.

Can I start my car with no drive shaft in?

Actually you should put it in neutral if you don't have the late style spool valve conversion. If you have a loose yoke that would be ok or just tape a bag around it. you don't want to fill it up enough to have fluid coming out the tailshaft housing.
  28. mguner

Can I start my car with no drive shaft in?

Yes but you do want to put fluid in the transmission.....
