I've worked for a Chrysler dealer for 40 years and have never run accross a cast crank in a 72 340.

In 1971 I had a 69 GTS 340. I came up against a 69 Z28 prepiared by K&G speed in Pa. After I put him on the trailer, the following week the NHRA refactored the Z28's up from G/SA to F/SA. After that he had a better chance of getting pregnant. So much for a mismatch.

how about a trailer instead. most pick-up's run around empty 95% of the time. they are a lot less expensive.!!!!!!!

Mine goes in the same time. Viper white, with flat black factory staipes, and black top. It should look just like 72 Duster photos posted in an other thread. Good luck with your paint job. Some one has got to show me how to post photos. I guess I'm just an old dummy! Al

thats correct, the valve bodies are the same. just change the park rod. 71 and up.
