I was blown away when I found these ( most of all being 1970 my favorite yr w/ cast shaker hood cudas ) By far .. the rarest Mopar thing that ive ever had . Wish I had a good place to display .. but hopefully will generate a little coin towards my car builds and go to a good home
Recently acquired these through a trade , but don't really have room for them .. so I listed on e bay . Item # is 201029300252 . ( Sorry , don't know how to create a link ) Any info would be much appreciated !!
Im probably going to pass on the car myself , but if any of your are interested , id be happy to forward his name and # . He never gave me a firm price but i think 5 to 6 hundred dollar range would buy it ..
Having a wet dream right now , pulling in on a warm spring day , Cabover camper , with large trailer behind , tool box , ice chest full of cold brews , .... ahhhhh .... i better stop .....
No i didnt buy it , i did buy the Orange 70 in the back ground .. Missing a bunch of stuff but a very clean car thats been tucked in the back of his shop for about 15 yrs
Again , i agree with Rumblefish360 and others that is not a real bb factory car , but cant wait till Sat to go back down , take some pics and put the mystery to rest ...
Im not trying to convince anybody that this is a legit car , im certain it is some kinda mis stamp on the vin tag , as i stated earlier i will get pics ( wish id thought of it when i was there last sat ) its about 90 miles from my house or id run right over to take pics ) I will be down there...
Sorry for your pessimism RumbleFish ... I have 2 CLOSE friends that worked on assembly lines in the early 70s ( Hamtrack and LA ) and the stories of what went on and what left the factorys are mind blowing ... not trying to legit this car .... i simply dont know
Im embarassed to say and know ill be beet on , but rarely drive any of mine . Licenceing , insurance and smog laws are the main reasons. I just enjoy collecting them and admireing them in my shop drinking a beer .:drunken:
I looked at the vin tag and it was very clearly VS29P , I didnt look at the fender tag myself , but the guy that has the car indicated the that he had ran the #s on the fender tag and coinsided with the vin tag .... I ll have to look at it myself ... probably mis-stamped at factory ...
I just bought a 70 Duster and misc parts from a guy yesterday . In addition to the 70 he has a 73 0r 74 Duster that has a lot of good parts that im probably going to buy too . My question is the engine code is clearly a P which indicates to me a 400 car . Ive never heard of a factory big block...
