    Isn't 'Cuda a model, not a nickname?

The E-body Barracuda was now "able to shake the stigma of 'economy car'."[12] Three versions were offered for 1970 and 1971: the base Barracuda (BH), the luxury oriented Gran Coupe (BP), and the sport model 'Cuda (BS).[13] Beginning mid year 1970, and ending with the 1971 model, there also was...

I went and measured mine. Mine is a 68 fastback. The center of the the lid on the fastback. (red line I drew on your photo) is 17 1/2 inches. The blue line near the edge 21 3/4 inches. The green side to side is 52 1/2 inches I think this maybe the same for all. These should give you an idea...

    Dealership Problem

I would ask the customer support for a copy of the case file they started so you can have it for your records if you haven't already. This way you know that they actually started one. Keep all oil change and maintenance record from before and after the incident. Plus documentation in writing...

Was there ever a Valiant Barracuda?

Did you also know it was almost called the panda. Automotive trends in the early to mid-1960s had all the U.S. manufacturers looking at making sporty compact cars. Chrysler's A-body Plymouth Valiant was chosen for the focus of the company's efforts in this direction.[2] Ford's Mustang, which...

Good youtube vid on a 67 Formula S

    Cool! Love that Mopar sound!

Where does the S badge go?

I understood you were looking at a 67 by your post. Only pointing out it was wrong for it to be in front for a 67 or a 68. It may not be a true formula S. The only thing in front of the opening should be the Barracuda script and fish emblem.

Where does the S badge go?

67 and 68 the formula S badge should be behind the tire opening on the front fender. 1966 had them in front of the tire opening. I believe 69 only had it on the trunk molding. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

    1/2 scale superbird

I knew it looked familiar. I've seen it at show around here. The video looks like it was taken in the far western part of Duluth, Mn. I recognized the signs on the buildings.

Thought the gasket on my 99 Ram was leaking. Turned out to be rust and pin holes in the pan. Had to get a new trans pan used a reusable gasket. My cars build date is today any body know there's?

Mine says 915 which means my 68 fish b-day is Sept.15,1967. Mike yours is a 66 right. Which means your date would be the first 3 numbers on the third line from the bottom of your fender tag. If the first character is 8,9,A,B,or C it would have been built the previous year. the last two numbers...

    VIN matching 68 cuda

That's not strange that they don't aline on the body stamps. Mine do the same thing the B and the 8 are set lower. The radiator support one is a little blurry but you can still see the first 2 number are lower. All my numbers match body stamp, fender tag, and build sheet. The guy probably...
