Thanks for the plug, but we quit doing the 69 Cuda Grilles since they came out with the repro. Customers kept sending the repro stuff with the OEM and they don't interchange. It was a major nitemare for us. -------------------------- 90% of our work is the 67/8 Grille/Panel Cuda stuff now.

Go and talk to a local body shop, one that works on Mopars. They've seen in all.

Do you have a set of Dart Sport Taillights? Take the set and see if they line up...kinda doubtful. But, who knows? You could always get a Dart Sport rear panel and have it welded in at Body Shop. AMD probably sells them.

Although these are aluminum, you can actually get them chromed. Would probably cost an arm and a leg, but would look really cool, once painted. Here is one I restored for another FABO member, it is polished aluminum:

They're heavily anodized aluminum, not chrome. You can have aluminum chromed, but I would guess that is not your intention. You can also get them polished, but it is a bear of a job and not cheap. If I can offer you a suggestion, look for a really nice pair, they're out there. Here is a pic of...

The Demon black out Hood treatment does not fit the 73-5 Duster hood.

I really like the idea, but you should have welded up the rectangular parking light hole, got some 68 Dart Side Marker Lights and mounted to the body line, as they did on the Darts. Would have been Cooler looking at the body line.

Naw, dont tell them that!!! The Plastic is just as bad as the Chrome Frame Bezels. Go with the OEM on all 69 Cuda Grille Parts, it'll take longer, but is considerably better in the long run.

You think the PG inner Grille pieces are bad, the outside Chrome pieces are even WORSE. You can forget trying to mate them to stock plastic. I seriously don' t know WHY they keep selling these. Everyone that I know has returned them...for credit.

Any resto shop or Convertible top shop can make one for you, this is very easy for them to duplicate.

Hey Matt; Just to letcha know, many of the 68 Cuda Guys prefer the 67 Headlight Bezel because they feel it is a cleaner look w/o the side bolt hole. They still bolt up the same. I would stay away from drilling the hole. The OEM hole has been chamfered, which you will have a hard time...

He's correct on all accts. You must use a set of 69 Grilles for this Car...you'll be sorry if you don't. Lately, there has been a lot of great 69 Cuda Grille parts for sale on Ebay. Take the extra time to locate some...you have no idea the headache you will be saving yourself. AND ABOVE...
