sand it down, then use a wire wheel on it . to get the pits cleaned out . the float a thin layer of body filler on it to fill the pits sand it down smooth and the put primer on it . fixed . cost ,20 bucks for filler and sand papper.

all i do is , lightly spray paint the area i need to work on and use some fine sand paper on a 2x4 about a foot long to run across the area im working on . it will clean off the high spots and leave the low spots painted . just my 2 cents .

ok so the rear driver side frame where the back leaf spring hooks up is rusting out . it is making the car lean to that side lower than the rest of the car . and being a unabody how do i fix this ? i would put pix but i dont know how to do that . i was thinking jack it up cut it out beef it up...

the water or moistness got in in the well and well. you get rust , its old its going to happen . the answer is what you do to fix it .

lol well....... it could be just there or the paint could be holding a lot of it to gether . you will have to sand it down to see how much is left of the old body . and eather put new panel in or fab your own .

you can use some steal wool to clean them up . then just buff them to a shine .

they sell stuff at the parts store for that called bumper sticker remover.

good luck . i cant find them eather . so im cutting out the rusted spots welding in what i can and fiberglasing it .
