A FABO member wants me to ship a rear window to him. I thought I could build a plywood box, line the top. bottom, and ends with styrofoam, and then pour packing peanuts around the glass. Would this be the best way of doing it? Any ideas would be appreciated. :prayer:

It is a 10 spline, and the tip of the input shaft is .748 inches, and base is 1 inch I think it is a 3 speed

I just bought a pile of Mopar A-body and racing parts, some stored in a seacan, and the rest stored in two serviceable full sized vans. I also bought the vans as it saved me from unloading them, and they were cheap (another $500). The racing gear included 2 Mopar straight 6 cylinders engines...

I think some of these extremely supportive wifes should be cloned. My wife barely puts up with the dissembled Barracuda and the pile of assorted parts. If I ever kick the bucket the Barracuda is toast. The wife shows an interest in part prices so she can sell everything for a good price...

Spectra Chrome is a spray on finish that is a fairly new process but it looks just like plastic chrome. A lot of automotive paint and hotrod shops now do it. Just Google Spectra Chrome for your area. http://www.sprayonchrome.com/index2.html

I'd keep any convertible parts that you may need to replace down the line as the pop offs go for unrealistic prices. I've been fairly lucky finding used parts for my 68 Barracuda ragtop but it's taken some effort (and luck) finding the right people. I'm still collecting parts but I'll keep...

A lot of automotive shops now do spectra chrome, basically a spray on chrome finish. http://www.sprayonchrome.com/index2.html You can probably find a shop near you that does it by doing a search with Google

I've seen the repops on eBay but I would sooner have the real McCoys. I wouldn't trust the fit of the repops; I don't want to break a rear panel as they're hard to find. I've been looking for used ones but haven't seen any. I just thought 4 doors might have the same ashtray

Does anyone have access to a Hollander Parts Interchane manual that would cover the 1968 Mopars? I'm trying to find out if the rear ashtrays in 1968 four door Mopar products are the same for a 1968 Barracuda and Dart Convertible.
