need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

I'll post pics of what I ran for scrutiny later. I did add a heat shield over my line that ran close to the headers. They're ceramic coated too, so I'm sure I'll be okay.

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

that's tidy. The whole car too. The only thing some guys may tell you, and I'm only learning right now too, is that your fuel line can't run on the inside face of the subframe connector if you plan on racing at the track. NHRA rule I guess. I'm going to install everything in the next day or...

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

I've shopped around, I'm $120 plus shipping to get 3/8 stainless. I can get about 16' of 6 an for the same price. Yes, I have to buy a few fittings, but the way I see it, it's worth it. I already mangled one stainless line. If I need to modify the set up I can do it easily. A stainless line...

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

I think that's the route I'm going to go. Run right from the tank to the mech fuel pump with 6 AN. I'm running a 408 stroker so the HP will be around the 500 ponies if I'm lucky. IF I need to run an electric fuel pump I can add 2 feet at the tank to the pump and just move the line to the...

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

Stainless, but Im not hell bent on any material. I know there are pro's and con's to all of the options. I'm not also set on running the factory location. As I mentioned, I elimitated the springs, tortion bars, and I'm adding home grown subframe connectors.

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

thats the set I used. I found if i used a spring over the stainless tube, and then used a large die on a new set of benders I picked up, it worked well.

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

I checked out Cunifer. I think that's what my 5/15 brakes are bent out of. Only $129 for a 25 ft roll on line. I think I found it locally and they want about $5 to $6 a foot.

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

yeah the 38" stainless doesn't bend nice. I have several sets of benders. Yesterday I went and grabbed a 3/8" spring and a big bender with several dies. If I slide the spring on and use the bender, it seems to keep the integrity of the tubing wall. I tested it with a scrap of the line that I had...

$99 for a 3/8" line? that's awesome provided it fits. Only problem is shipping. Would prob have to give up a left testie or my first born to get it to the great white north.

need some advice, running 3/8" fuel line, how to run, what to use

Im trying to plumb new 3/8" fuel line to my 69 valiant, 408 stroker. upgrading to a 3/8" line, with a high flow mechanical fuel pump. Tried bending a metal line in the factory location, but the 90 degree tight bends at the rear wheel well are tricky and we crushed the tubing. Question(s)...

Need a new tank, where to buy in CAN

yeah, gonna make due with a dented one for now, then bring one up from the states. Blows my mind that a product made in Canada, is more than twice the price to buy here than south of the boarder. I wonder who's to blame for that? Spectra or the retailer?

Need a new tank, where to buy in CAN

Unbelievable. Spectra Premium, manufactures the tank here in Canada. It's 350-400 here and only 150 in the states.... Used it is I guess. Rather spend the money on a used on and restore it than get hosed like that.

    Return Fuel Line-Pics please

I'm looking for advice and maybe some pics to go along with moding a sending unit to have a return fuel line. I'm building 69 valiant with a stroked 360, 750 dbl pumper, going to run 3/8 fuel line, and a return line to the stock tank. Is 5/16" return ok? How do I add it? Should I modify a...

how do you install return lines?

I've read a few forums on installing return lines, using the existing 5/16" fuel line for the return and running a new 3/8" line for supply. Question is, is there a right way and a wrong way to install the fitting for the return on the tank? I was planning on using a factory tank at the moment...
