lookie what I found! and can I get a new one made anywhere?

You can make one for yourself over at Moparts http://www.moparts.org/Tech/ it`s not an exact copy but hey it`s free! Open any one of the .doc files for the build sheets and you can edit the year to match your own vehicles year and add all the info in the appropriate boxes.

    This poor Dart.....

It`s the rims that don`t go with it, change them out and it will look a whole lot better. Paint scheme is O.K. not something I would choose but I could live with it.

I am posting this here because nothing else makes sense

As we all know our cars are old. I would do a thorough inspection of the wiring under the dash could have some mouse eaten wires under there with you working on the wiring something could have shorted out causing the fire. Glad you didn`t have any major damage or injury. Let this be a wake up...

    rare 383 $10,000?????

Ok well the consensus is in he`s off his nut! Glad that didn`t take long. Maybe that motor is worth 10K to the guy who has the car it goes into and he "HAS " to have it, but I seriously doubt that's gonna happen anytime soon!

So this car rolls up to my shop today

Can`t tell for sure in the pic but that rear bumper looks like it might be chrome, maybe it`s the light hitting it but it sure looks shiny? Could you even get a elastomeric front bumper/chrome rear bumper combo from the factory?

    I need a hand Ya'll

Glad to hear the cat food is working! You can add a teaspoon or 2 of water to it as well to get him more fluids, just don`t add to much and ruin the consistency of the cat food if its too runny he may turn his nose up to it. Have you been taking him to the vet too? If he is dehydrated...

    I need a hand Ya'll

Sorry to hear about your pet! I had a Basset hound and when he wasnt feeling well and had no appetite I gave him can cat food it worked a few times for me. Plus dipping my fingers in the water dish with him right in front of it and running my fingers under his gums made him drink too. A little...

    Check this ad

Very nice! My only question is why would you want to sell a car as rare as this on Craigslist? Wouldn't the exposure at a Mecum or Barret`s auction bring in better money?

    Need a snappy comeback

Where did you find that emblem? Looks good!

Switching from power steering to manual- does anyone do this?

I had a 67 Cougar back in the day and kept having trouble with the power assist hydraulic hoses leaking and blowing so I ditched the whole thing. Making it manual steering by default. One day I was at a stop sign making a right hand turn and the pitman arm popped out of the socket I lost all...

Very cool idea, but if it`s something that my *** is going to be sitting on I would use a Chevy or Ford tailgate instead! :D

    M/T valve couver grommets

I really think the grommets from Mancini are what you want. I just went out to my car and took a pic of mine. The top of grommet looks to be 1 3/4 O.D. Notice in my pic the grommet completly covers the silver trim around the hole. Snake and Cudachick I think your quest is over!

    M/T valve couver grommets

Nice work on those covers Cudachick! Here is a pic of my valve covers "rattle can job". I thought I had more pics on my computer but this was the only one I could find of mine. Hard to see the hole I drilled but, I actually had to shave quite a bit off the grommet to squeeze it in the hole I...

    M/T valve couver grommets

No problem glad to help. I didn`t have a big enough drill bit so I went as big as I could and used a dremel to make the hole bigger. Sort of a PIA but I got it to go. You may want to have a machine shop drill it and avoid the hassle I went through. This grommet kit comes with a rubber plug too...

    M/T valve couver grommets

Try these http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/mopcasvalcov.html I drilled out my MP valve covers and made it fit! I actually had to shave down the grommet to fit in the hole on my valve cover, a little permatex on it when I put it in works fine. This is for the cast alum valve cover. Mancini has...

Making old nuts, bolts and clips new again

I`ve had good results using electrolysis. Never tried on small stuff, but if you can suspend the items in an old tin can and use the can itself as the sacrificial metal. It might work good the small stuff would be surrounded in the can.
