    If you get the gasket for a 1994-2000 dodge pickup it is the same as a 727 except it is a plastic core with rubber seals on both sides. My buddy gave me his from his 2000 diesel and it worked great. The nice thing about those is that you can reuse the gasket and they don't leak.

    Did you check the front bushing. I had my spin on me and spewed fluid out the front bell housing.

    I am running the Lokar kickdown in my car and I love it. I had a hell of a time trying to get the right mechanical linkage to work with the four barrel. I also went with the Lokar accelerator cable and it looks very nice.

    I just had the same thing happen on my transmission. It ended up being the front pump bushing spun and took out the front seal. A few hours later and a new bushing and all has been running good.

    I got one from a buddy that had it on a 02 3/4 diesel. He had it laying around so i put it in my 727 and have had it off twice already and still seals excellent.

    Could be your fwd clutch going out. Just had it happen to my 727. It acted like it shifted into neutral for a second then go into drive. When i tore it apart to rebuild it the fwd clutch discs were fried.

    So I am running a lokar kickdown linkage. Where do I want my kickdown lever travel to be. When it is full throttle do I want the linkage all the way back. and how far forward do you want the lever to be when there is no trottle being applied. What would you suggest as a good starting point...

    Thats the same issue i am having i ended up drilling a couple of different holes. I tried to drill it so i have full movement of the kickdown arm but i don't think i want it coming all the way forward. I haven't had time to check it since i have had other tranny issues right now.

    Do i need the full travell of the kickdown lever? When i use the original hole i am only utilizing about half of the travel of the kickdown lever.

    Hi I am wondering if anyone has installed the lokar kickdown linkage on a small block 727. I have the throttle and kickdown linkage installed on my dart and i am having a hell of a time getting the adjustment right. thanks
