    New Small Block Headers

Hey rob what’s up. So the headers I traded the intake for are the hooker 5303 1 7/8 slip tubes for A and E body small blocks. The #7 tube hit the steering column and the frame by the proportion valve so that’s why it’s flattened like that. Every tube leaked where it entered the collector on the...

There built for 318 340 or 360 with STOCK cylinder heads and No power steering.. the car has a stock 4spd with a scatter shield so there is plenty of room for automatics. Mopar R1 block

Yes the yellow duster. That engine with an automatic in a superstock duster ran in the 8.70s. In my car with a stick and 10” tire went 9.0s 9.18 on caltracs. I made some changes to the engine and I’m updating the cars rear suspension so I’m hoping to go 8.50s that’s my goal.

    360 crank in a 318 block

ok well, same story, they built the 302 so they can go trans am racing. I think the factory(underated)HP was 290. those motors had all good stuff in them from the factory. they put a cross ram intake and headers in the trunk when you got the DZ 302 option.

    360 crank in a 318 block

    360 crank in a 318 block

Find a 360. I don't care what you do to a 318 you will be disappointed after you waste all that money on it. They were never. Made to be a performance engine. Sorry if I ruffled anybody's feathers.

your going to spend more than 2k! unless you want to spray it!:read: what rob is really saying is LEAVE IT ALONE! lol, hey rob do they still make blackjack headers the alum. coated ones? lmao.
  26. smokindust

Why are 318's low HP and torque?

chrysler never intended the 318 to be a performance engine. thats why they designed the 340.
