    I don't know how to post a link but I like the stage III small block on Hughes Engines website. Makes 588hp@6500, 528ft;lbs.@5000 on their dyno. I know some guys don't particularly like them but you gotta be impressed with the power.

    About 2" if I remember correctly. I got shocks for a early Dodge truck for my Duster with SS springs. They're about 2" longer fully extended.

    what kind of heads would you use?

    Do you plan to tear the engine down later and refurbish or throw in a bigger cam, intake, carb? I'd go ahead and get the 360-2 heads. The flow numbers I've seen are about the same in the lower lifts but the 360-2's might have larger port volume and that may affect low speed performance.
