There is only a small difference in vapor barriers between the fastback and any car with a trunk.

Check for vacuum leaks, it may not be the carb at all. If you dont care about originality find a super six setup.

FItech seems to be having a supply issue with their FI fuel lines, just be aware there may be a delay if you want the inline fuel pump option.

Then check your dash regulator, is your water temp reading OK. I bought a new one off of ebay for $35 it works fine so far.

And if everything is sealed you are still running the fuel through the air and down the fill tube which will cause more evaporation.
