    kill stories

Notice my signature, it still happens. First, I was about 6 0r 7, Dad's friend just finished an LS6 chevelle, lot's of money in that BBC and was a very nice car. They decide to go for a "drive" somehow I end up going along with dad in "Limey", his lime green, barn fresh for 20 some years now...

New best times with the 66 Dart

Way cool. What is the deal on these Caltrac like bars that people are talking about and what springs do you use? I need some 60' help and want more consistent 11s out of my 3340lb 360 duster.

    WTF happened??

It's coming out when I get other things done that don't involve that car, winter is coming. Would that have been caused by just driving and racing the car? cause there's less than 100mi on the thing. Or is it something that went due to the shock of everything breaking?

    Guess the results

Well, best I could get with bad winds was a 1.64 60' 7.58 1/8th@89mph and an 11.9 1/4 @ 111mph, that mph is down from last years 113, think fuel psi might have gone down up top, it kinda lost pace. Sunday was parts breakage.

Quick Fuels are very nice, had one on the car for a while. If I had to buy a carb right now it'd be one of the new Holley HP's that are absolutely awesome! light weight 20% more bowl capacity and you can get em in black lol

going to the track for my first time

Just keep your focus, concentrate on the car and whats going on around it. I don't like to tie emotion into it, you'll never see me hitting the dash or throwing my tools, I perfer to be more analytical about things. If something goes wrong don't freak, keep your head on and think out a solution...

Chicago Wise Guy Legend Racing's Wicked Fast Duster

I see that car at GLD all the time, it's a nasty girl alright. Last time I talked to them they weren't really all about telling people what was up with the car, think he's also a chitownracing.com member.

MY dyno and ET slip, What do they tell you?

Lose that converter asap, I looked into those Boss Hog verter's and they are NOT an ideal setup and are made cheaply, not trying to be rude just would hate to read about your converter taking a dump on you and taking out more parts. I'd say you need to get the tune up as close as you can before...

340/360 intake choice for high 11s

The strip dominator and the M-1 are almost identical, including that stupid spread bore carb pad and goofy 90* angle from the carb out to the runners. I run a strip dominator that is heavily worked over to correct that issue.

Changes done and ready for the track.

Low 12's at about 112. I have a very similar 360 with same cam and compression but with very mildly ported X heads and a holley strip dominator single plane, I ran an AT with a 3500 converter. I was having 60ft issues (best was 1.74) and it went 12.24 at 113mph. Wanted to go back with new shocks...

who would you have port intake?

I didn't say that either. Made it kinda clear in my last post how I would have gone about it but you fellas have to have your fun once in a while. You would think that before committing to a shop the OP would research them some and then BAM! the BJR bomb goes down like the Hindenburg or some...

who would you have port intake?

point I was aiming for was a simple "hey people have had problems with his work and his conduct after the subpar work was done" probably would have been sufficient but what do I know. I remember the whole 40,971 page battle and I agree the work was not what anyone would be hoping to see but I...
