Picked up a "unique?" parts dart

F18 is for a 65-amp alternator and J42 is floor pan dampener (insulation). The K in the VON (K63239) coupled with the 999 paint code almost certainly makes it a service vehicle of some type, but not police. Forest would make sense. Does that seem to be the original color?

    Electric Conversion input

Not true. Stealth EV can supply a Tesla drive unit that requires absolutely no wiring other than high voltage, throttle, brake, and pre-charge. Straight from their website: "The Stealth EV Tesla Drive Units handle the pre-charge system and main contactors directly from the controller, no...

More factory literature. This is for a Duster, but should be pretty close for a Dart as well.

Another WIW thread, Now with Pictures '75 Duster 360, A63 interior

K6R is the stripe code (red). B5VW is cloth and vinyl buckets with multi-colored inserts. A63 is a decorative package, but not necessarily the Hang 10 package. You could also get A63 on a Duster. TX9 black was available with A63. The top of the market for a car that new seems to be around...

70 340 4-speed dart - talk me off the ledge

I lot of guys were saying the same thing about B-bodies just a few years ago. Look how many of them got parted out and look at what they're worth now. I bet many wish they hadn't chopped them up because of the way prices have skyrocketed lately. It's only a matter of time before A-body prices...

Missing Fender Tag - Can I Get Tag Info From VIN ????

Nope. The only other way to get the option codes is a broadcast sheet. VIN just says model, year, engine, plant, and serial number.

    Decode page/link ?

I don't know if there's one site that puts all the numbers together, but if you post it here, it will get decoded.

1973 340 Duster too good to scrap?

There it is. Hindsight is 20/20 and in 10 years you'll kick yourself if you cut it up. I would have said save it if it was just a 340 car. Since it's a 340 4 speed with a sunroof, I'd say it's a no-brainer.

    what hood is this

I'm not sure what "340 scoops" are, but they look like '69 Barracuda scoops (non-functional). Reproductions can be found here: http://www.beaparts.com/list_items.aspx?body=A&cat=E&subcat=32. The hood itself is worth very little, but the scoops may be worth something if they are original pieces.
