    Torsion bars

Yes you should! But if you get the ride back to the same ball park area you would probably be fine without doing an alignment. That's assuming it is currently good. I would also recommend the 1.03 bars. Really updates the handling of the car and the ride is not horrible.

    pst torsion bars

Both actually work fine the 0 or non indexed were the ones the guys that never had their cars running were complaining about. The new ones I guess are indexed 20 degrees, perfect if you want your car to set up high like stock or even higher like an early gasser. I don't think you would be...

P-S-T 1.03" torsion bars for A body revisited

They did clock the new batch. I ran the unclocked old ones with no problems and no frame contact for what it's worth. If memory serves me correct it was mostly guys with uncompleted and unrunning cars that had issues thinking they weren't going to get a reasonable ride height.

    Hotchkis 76 Dart Build

Swifter this is a build thread. In my opinion you're way out of line in so many ways by injecting your negative opinions and/or you're dislikes of a particular build or manufacture in this thread. There is a time and places to do that here in other threads on for abodiesonly, but this build...

    Torsion bar question??

Might want to buy or make a torsion bar remover tool before attempting the swap. I bought one a few years ago and it has been a real time and aggravation saver on a few jobs. Those torsion bars normally don't pop out easily.

Yep that was it, Both the early A's were awesome. Looked like the 65 maroon one was close to or a factory stock formula S and the 66 Gold one having the full Hotchkis system, the handling difference was amazing. Both were just outstanding examples of Early A's and the fact they were being driven...

That MATS course is so short and slow I'm thinking just some sway bars and I could be having some fun Any recommendations on sway bar sizes I'm running 1.03 torsion bars up front some old stock leaf springs rear. I was looking at 1-1/8 Addco bar for the front maybe that E body adjustable rear...

Currently I don't have any sway bars Funny you mentioned the power steering pump. I remember back in high school sliding My early "A" Mopar around in the rain and having problems with the power steering getting hard and losing power intermittently. It was the old style pump with the large cap...

Yes your car was one that I enjoyed watching. Your car actually handled very nicely. Don't remember everything you had done but definitely remember your car and the other early "A" think it was maroon and a little more of a stock Formula S car.

Mattax thanks Yeah the Vegas deal is not real serious just a fun event that I believe is sponsored be Hotchkis to showcase their products. Down a little closer to home they have a little more competitive events occasionally at California Speed Way in Fontana. The courses are much faster and...

After watching multiple youtube videos of past Mopars at the Strip in Vegas. I think its important to point out the course is very short, tight and looks pretty smooth. The one thing I notice is the average cars roll around like the Queen Mary in rough sea's. The Hotchkis cars seem to be pinned...

I have the car low enough that will not be a problem. I was thinking the same about a rear sway bar and the relocated leaf springs I did install the offset bushings and the stiffener plates on the lower control arms. Good to know that rear bar will fit with the relocated springs. Did I read...

I always use the Moog brand. Don't know if they are any better than the others brands these days, but I'm hoping they will last longer since I don't really enjoy front end work.

    65 barracuda frontend rebuild Help

Your lower ball joints should match you spindles. In your case 73+ spidles I would guess, that should save some pretty good money.
