Got my mismatched end pieces made and sealed up. Next s primer and undercoating. Even found some foam tape that should seal it up pretty good. Had to use some foil tape to cover holes i couldnt get to,should be fine.
Yup, i have a cheap amazon kit. Works well. Be mindful of moving parts when you clip them on. I wish they would make a set that would broadcast an fm signal. Insead of headohones could hear it through the car stereo.
65 dartman is correct about the adjustment but don't do it until you have determined if your hinges are good or need to be repaired/replaced. If the hinges are bad it will be a temporary fix at best.
Remember, this is also a safety issue and adjusting a door latch incorrectly can affect how...
I've been having problems with my A833OD sticking in 4th so it is now out and on the bench. During inspection, the points on the reverse gears appear to be fairly rough so I am thinking about swapping them with parts from another OD trans I have.
Per Passon's book, there are different reverse...
Great idea. I would want to validate what those marks on the gauge mean. Assuming they are for 0 20 40 60 80 but something like this you'd want to be sure of. You could also use a meter match to correct any inaccuracy of the gauge.

this would be a good one for a body work member. I would like to have it. We have a gold one like Steve's @4spdragtop from Georgia...It's a real peach...LOL retirement restoration car
Been thinking through these details the last few days and I think it would work but wanted to pose the idea here to get thoughts. I know I could add a mechanical gauge but I'd rather have one tucked within the instrument cluster that isn't carrying oil. So this discussion will be if the concept...
In the early 80's my buddy had halogens in his 70 Duster. Cops pulled him over and said his lights were illegal. Now car blind you and they do nothing. I like the Toyota kits with lights but would like some input from someone who has used them.
