2 door sedan vs 2 door hardtop vs 4 door sedan trim - 1967 Dart

A '67 would have a plastic lock strip, not a stainless molding, so, I assume you're in the process of converting over to the '68-up trim? If so, the 2 dr and 4dr sedans all use the same moldings, but, the 2drHT is different.....all pieces of it.

    360 vs 383

It's not hard to find a 100 lbs difference right on the front between a Duster with A/C and power steering and a "no A/C w/Manual steering" car with the same engine. Not many say too much about the handling in those cases.

Lmao I will see if the tongue technique helps. Possible will add a grunt and a few more expletives as well. Those usually get the job done!

Rear Drum Parking Brake Cable Attachment

I usually hook it on before putting the shoes on. BUT... With a bit of slack in the line you should be able to pull the spring back enough to slide the cable into the slot. If you can not get enough slack I I would be looking at the cable to be sure it can move freely in the sheathing...

    360 vs 383

I had a '68 Fury III Police Package (build sheet verified). It came with factory disc brakes, dual exhaust, 383 commando, and dual mirrors. 727 of course. In low mileage-stock form it ran lower 15's with even the factory carburetor still on it. About 4400 lbs at the start line (no spare or...

Can you ID this Mopar gearbox?

As long as you don't install synthetic, you should be fine. I even ran auto-trans fluid for many years; Dextron II ATF, not FORD type..

    A833 308 Bearing Installation

If you put snap ring on now, make sure it will fit into the recess of the retainer, and slip the retainer over the shaft, new seal, gsk, 4 bolts, . . Just make sure the snap ring fits into the recess ! That bearing would normally slide right thru the hole, into case, it shouldn't be sloppy, just...

Regardless of where you get your parts, MOST are manufactured by a few manufacturers so shop by customer service and shipping costs, I had to laugh when I bought Corbin clamps from Dales Cuda Shop, then bought a set from Classic Ind. They just stuck their label over the Dales Cuda Shop label!

If the gasket is still live, I use the rope without any sealer. I like to lube it up with liquid soap or gritless GoJo. Makes washing things off easier.

    360 vs 383

In my experience, a 383 2bbl and 360 2bbl are so close in every way possible that I doubt I would have known which one was in the car by just driving, without opening the hood. Especially in C-bodies. But this is just the bottom of where both power plants were intended to be..... mules.

It's unfortunate that there are lots of places in this country that are the same now. It shouldn't be that way. Property owners should still have certain rights and they don't in a lot of places now. Look at all this squatter crap, for instance.

I remember smelling gear oil for a week after the swap and then again after the 1st oil change! It's not a bad smell, just not a present one! I would rather smell a feed lot over the gear oil.

    Any benefit to 10” wheel?

Different proportion from his tires to yours, but same theory. Check out the video at 19.15 on. Alters sidewall angle. Most of the guys using wide wheels with 275s have LOTS of power, and the trick is power management, and avoiding tire shake. His 20"wide rims are wider than the tread on a funny...
