Tuff Wheel Adapter Horn Contact Ring

I finally decided to investigate why the horn on my 72 demon wasn't working and I discovered that the connector tab on the horn contact ring for the switch's ground wire was broken off. Probably unrelated but the plastic insulator that is sandwiched between the copper ring and adapter looks...

    What color interior is this?

I have a 72 Dodge Demon with a "GY4" interior paint code on my fender tag, however the seats, headliner, panels, etc... are a different color than the dash is. I believe that the dash color is indeed GY4 (gold), but since the seats and door panels are clearly a different color. How would I...

Does anybody happen to know what size bolt is used on this steering column (see red box in picture)? Its a 71 floor shift column and you are looking at the bearing housing. Thanks.

In dash CD Player...how to mount?

I've installed a standard 1" DIN aftermarket CD player in my 72 Demon (cut the dash to fit), but I'm not quite sure on what the best way to secure it is. For those that have done this already, how did you secure the headunit so that it doesn't move around? If you have pictures that would...

    Removing inner door emblems?

So when I got my 72 Demon for whatever reason it had a duster emblem on the drivers side inner door panel. I finally got around to buying a replacement Demon emblem, but not quite sure how to remove the old one. Do I need to pull the door panel to get at it? Are they held on by nuts or do...

    Aftermarket gauges

For those of you who are running after market gauges and installing them underneath the dash in the typical 3 gauge pod panels. What size gauges are you running? I've got 2 5/8" gauges currently and was thinking of upgrading from the auto gauge series to something a little better. I wanted to...

    Removing carpet...

I'm converting my 72 demon column shift/bench seats to a floor shifter car. I need to remove the carpet to install the new shifter and was wondering how I go about removing the carpet. Do I just yank and pull or what? Also, is it possible to remove it with the bench seats still in? I just...

    Tuff Steering wheel and adapter

Ok so I picked up a Tuff Steering for dirt cheap that came with an adaptor already. The guy said he had it on an E body however the adapter I have is not the 'ribbed' kind that I've been told are correct for E bodies. It looks more like an A body style. The outer part is 3 1/2" and the full...

Converting column shift to floor shift

I have a 72 demon that is currently set up with a column shifter and bench seats. I have a steering column for a floor shifter vehicle. What would it take to convert the vehicle to a one with a floor shifter? I would be using an aftermarket shifter and not the stock console shift.
