So I just picked up my first A body( 75 Valiant Brougham). Definitely needs some work, but I cannot get the hood open. The stupid hood release cable seems to be seized. Is there any other way to open the hood? Also whats the best way to get into the trunk, and I'm having a little bit of trouble...

What do you guys/gals think this car is worth. I believe it's a 75( not a 100% sure). Almost rust free, with a complete interior. No clue on what engines in it, but its column shift. Also, any info on scamps, and where rust might be lurking would be appreciated. Thanks
