is there a difference between the springs of /6 and V-8 cars? My car is a /6 car that's being transformed to a V-8 car (as we speak) with the leaf spring relocation kit to boot. Are the spring rates different? Does it really matter on a 100% street car?

want to install my 8.25 in the near future so I went u-bolt shopping locally and the only folks that had the correct bolts are NAPA and you'd swear they are made of Platinum with a Titanium core!!! $17.99 each! WTH?!?!? Put me on the right track y'all cause that ain't happening!
