first off im working on the sister in laws car and its a chevy 283 from 1967...we need a forum for non mopar stuff...i know there alot of mechanics among the crowd here so here we go. i dropped a new hei dizzy into the 283 and wired the hot wire to the coil...im trying to find out if i need to...

1. front of shaft cwc 1133 back of shaft c1 d1 definitely sb mopar
2. front of shaft cd 980 2 v051 just below that 022 4-8 i.5 mid shaft c2 d2 cwc -20 back fd2 02 s uc big block mopar

I'm looking for a new cam in my 72 demon .
Ok...it's a 340 with an eddy air gap an eddy 750 I have a set of x heads that have been ported...also have the j heads as a spare no bore work headers and dual exhaust with purple hornets...any suggestions for a good cam
i changed out the intake manifold and the carb and pvc and now my car runs like..$#*[email protected] kept messing with it and took the vacuum hose off the pcv and it runs great????what is going on
i have searched through a ton of threads and cant find exactly what im looking fo so here it goes...i have a set of heads on my 340 with the casting number 3671587 7 and on the other side of the head it has 360 on it.....are these 340 heads or 360 heads....plus i can't seam to find a letter...
i have a 72 demon with no scoops and i want to put an eddy air gap on my 340... does anyone else have this on there car and if so will it fit under my hood???
i have a 71 340 that i wanna deck out in pretty much all edelbrock. not real sure if this is a good way to go or if something else would work better. what are your guys opinions with heads and intakes and cams....im not wanting to bore anything out. so tell me what you think
