‘66 Dart Speedometer Inop

My ‘66 came with a ball & trunion style a833, I updated with a regular, splined yoke 833, any ideas, suggestions on “marrying” the ‘66 speedo cable to the “newer” a833? Thanks!

Yeah, just get a cable for a 67. Just confirm it has a 5/8 female end on the speedometer side. I'm almost positive it does.

I got my cable for my 66 at NAPA. It fit perfect.

Yeah. I was kinda kornfrooshed. Cause 66 was the goodbye to the ball and trunnion. So he shouldn't have that unless somebody swapped it in.

So Jamie from @deaddodgegarage was right. I had the wrong transmission… I’m also suspecting this Dart was a conversion (originally a floor shifted a/t) oh well ‍
