“71 Dart” Recommendation for shoulder belt conversion for front buckets

Hello Mopar brothers and sisters, I have a 71 Dart with bucket seats (probably was a bench seat originally). I am looking for someone with experience who has upgrading front seatbelts. What works, and what doesn’t. I am looking to go to a lap/shoulder retractable system for bucket seats To replace the lap belt only system. Thanks for any information RonD

There should be a hole for a shoulder belt from the factory. They must have been removed?

There is a hole for the shoulder belt (The original is still in the bracket on the ceiling). They were obviously replaced to a simple lap belt only at some point. Looking to upgrade to a retractable lap/shoulder combo. Thanks for the response

I have Wesco belts in my Duster. The link below is for a set with a long sash, that should keep the belt of your neck. I did not get that and the belt sits higher than it should.

I bought Seats and 4 point Harnesses from Amazon and installed in the stock mounting locations after adding bracing to the floor.
You should have a shoulder belt mounting hole after I believe it was 68'.
No problems in 5 years.
Chrysler 5th avenue, Dodge Diplomat belts work.
