1/4 Mile Estimate

I'd put 20 passes on it N/A before I even thought about turning on the squeeze. Get used to what you have, and get it working good first (launch rpm, shift rpm etc.) See if your drag radials are good enough, or do you need slicks.

My car, fairly well dialed, with 500 crank 400whp, ran 7.20s/11.40s with more.gear and more converter. I'd guess yours will run low 12s (7.90-8.0) first time out, mid 11s (7.60-7.70)once you get used to it, which means of course, that a bar or cage will be necessary.
With anticipated squeeze use, a cage is HIGHLY recommended.
200 horse worth of juice should get you 6.60-6.70, IF it hooks.
My opinion only.
One question. What does it weigh?

Here's the thing... if it goes 12.80... smile and have fun... if it goes 11.10...smile and have fun :) It's a day at the track..
I hear what your say'n, .. . but if it was my machine, my money.... no way I smile if it goes 12.80's. No way. LOL

well... when i golfed i didn't care if i did good or bad... i would try my best but at the end of the day i was walking in the sunshine with some buddies.... still a good day :) and... i don't know if my car would even do 12.80s... so i would be ok with it :)

What if you spent 9,000 dollars on a personal golf trainer.... 1500 on clubs... then shot 19 over par... and your buddies all scored better with 20 dollar garage sale clubs.. and no training but watch one youtube video.. pretty hard to smile then.. LOL

Bowling was my "sport". (And drag racing).
I went golfing once. First time out, at a 3-par. Shot a 72 with borrowed clubs.......

But it got dark after three holes, and I had to quit.

You did better than me... I've never golfed... :D

Sniper fuel injection, dual O2 sensors.

14.7 afr at cruise, 12.7 at WOT

My exhaust system is part of the problem with full potential. Shorty headers, Sanderson DD9’s, 2.5” collectors to 2.5 pipe, X-connector, dual 40 flowmasters.
Agree. I'd like to see a full length header, and 3" system, but I certainly understand the difficulty with that in an early A.
I ran a 2" header and 3 1/2 exhaust on a N/A 408.

Not only do you need a cage with a stroker and N2o but no track (legit one anyway) will let you run with nitrous and no drive shaft loop. So get one of those.

Get your **** squared away as if you were going to let your child drag race it.
I am my own child so I'm over building my car lol.

I expect you to run your number before you leave the track the first day.
That's if you bring a change of underwear.

you guys are always in such a rush to get down the track.... i paid good money to go there... i'm going to take my time and enjoy it...

We didn't in 2000, when we took the 451 powered 67 Coronet with a 4 speed, slicks and a worn out suspension, laid down an 11.00 and loaded her up on the trailer.
They're probably still talking about that out of shape run. lol

I’ll have to weigh the car, but I’d imagine it’s under 3000lbs.

I originally had TTI stepped full length headers but there was no room to work on anything…oil filter, starter, shift linkage, etc

Progress photo. Thank for mentioning the driveshaft loop

Not sure how much overlap is on that cam of your’s but it isn’t the smallest lift and duration I’ve seen. the one in my car is only 515 lift with 234 at 50 thou and 108 Centerline. I can’t image having power brakes as I only get 8-9 inches of vacuum. Wonder what your motor makes.

Have you tried your brakes with the cam you are mentioning?

Cam is a 110LSA

I was originally at .537 lift with 1.5 rockers…dyno numbers reflect this.

I’m adding 1.6 rockers at the same time as the NX kit.

Brakes could be better, but I’ll measure vacuum once up and running again.

I’ve be considering going to hydro boost to improve.

Why not run with manual brakes?

So with 1.6 rockers you're going to be at .573" lift. Do you know if you have adequate piston-to-valve clearance?
Just sayin'

Is the converter tuned for use with nitrous specifically? There's a night and day difference in the difference between a nitrous specific and an N/A converter. Nitrous converters are a lot tighter on flash speed to keep the extra torque from "blowing through the converter."
