15 inch steel wheel measurements

-
I know for a fact that 255-60-15 will fit... i had it in there before upgrading to bbp ... I had it in there with custom made stockton wheels ... center was sbp on 15 in ring.... no rubbing at all... now that i upgraded i was just wondering what and if guys could fit an 8 inch in the rear with 255-60-15 tire .... and it can be done as per abve ... my advanatage is that i can have stockton locate center in ring in any spot to accomodate clearance issues ... HOPEFULLY .. thanks
When you had your 255 in the back what was rim size? I also have a new set of 15x7 sbp with 4.25bs I was wanting to try with a 255 60 r15. Merry Christmas!!!!

15 X 7.....i will need to check the offset ... i do not remember ... But i think 4.25??

Installed fronts 215-65-15.....Defintately 205-70-15 would of worked but i opted for a little wider stance... I like it .... now moving on to finishing rear LBP brake upgrade and then making hopefully 15X8 stockton wheels ...i called them yesterday and they stated it has been done... just need to get correct offset .... and 255-60-15 should fit on rear for now ... THanks for the help gius

Looks great!!!!

I will try and get a further back shot .... was not thinking .... but it is sitting on jack stands ...would of been nice if Radial TA did make a 205 70 15 ... but i think the only mak 215 70 15 ... and i think there would be some contact with front fender on that size....thanks for the help

The back wheels are getting painted as we speak ... once i get them installed i will take a photo ....

My 15x7's are being painted as we speak also. Should have installed this week.

OK .......to all you doubters out there stating that 255-60-15 will not fit on back of a 69 Dart .....Here is the proof again .... on a second set of custom steelies i had made.... only thing i would different is change the offset 1/4 inch to have more of wheel exposed on outside ....NOW unless you can PROVE it that they will not fit ... shut your &*())

you can t go by back space .... i wanted a specific look to compare to original centers as you can see..... the newer centers are different ... either way ... i went 4.75..... 4.5 would of been slightly better ....
