15x6 or 15x7 on rear?

Which one fits better on the rear of an early a?
I am guessing I can run a larger tire on the 15x6 yet looking for taller rather than wide due to stock clearances.

I have had good luck with 15 X 7 on the early "A"s 4.5" back spacing. A 235/60/15 tire should fit easy. Might even run a 255/60/15 that will be tighter but would still probably fit.

I wondered that, as my 14 inch outlaw 2s used to rub with 215-70-14 when my leaf springs were worn.
