Would anyone know where I might find the upper & lower rear seats for a 1966 Convertible Dart???
Are there any aftermarket Mfg's?

I would start by placing an add in the "wanted" section of this site. Some one will chime in, I'm sure. If your luck is anything like mine they will be found on the opposite side of the country.

No I don't have one but any '64, 65 or 66 Dart or Valiant convertible seat will work (& probably '63 too) but the pattern of the vinyl covers will be different.

I'm not too sure on the valiant seats fitting. let me rephrase that, the seats will fit side to side, the dart seats actually go further down into the footwell than the valiants do. the valiants don't step down into the footwell and the darts do. At least the 65 and 66 that I have did. and yes I bought a valiant rear convertible bottom seat and it does fit side to side but stops at the raised portion of the floorboard and if you have to recover them you better get the right type or the skins won't fit.
this one is a valiant rear seat top and bottom. notice the bottom seat does not drop down to into the footwell, it just goes straight out . This is an ebay valiant top and bottom seat

I changed mine to 97 Sebring front and rear seats which also fit side to side but did not go down to the footwell also. but the front seats are MUCH more comfortable than the stock seats (power drivers side too!)

how was the mounting of the Sebring rear seat

how was the mounting of the Sebring rear seat

the rear seat mounting wasn't too bad but I did have to make a panel that went over the driveshaft tunnel and help raise the seat a bit to get the angle right. there is also a small riser in the back that looks similar to the front panel you see. (make sure to swipe the cross brace from the donor car to get the shoulder belt brackets AND the Seat belt("a large metal u shaped piece brace for the lower seat belts plus the bottom front plastic mount brackets )
front mounting bracket the plastic locking clip slides into. the seats fit fine but I did shave.5 inch off the top section of the sides about 4 inches from top down to open up the side panels for the convertible top to clear.

here they are mocked in but not fully braced or welded in solid (the top brace took a bit to do)
the other back brace goes right next to the lower seat belt bolts and crosses the entire car just like the front but only 2 inches high.

seats in and feeling GOOD! even though I want to recover the seats still.

the seat in with the brace close to being finished
on the bottom where the formed sheet metal is there will be a 1"x1"x 1/8" angle welded to the original cross brace and to the inner fender area for support.
