1966 Dart GT Progress

Hey guys, so I've taken a couple of picks and I'm going to try to remember to record some of the progress and keep this thread updated. As of this post I've had her exactly one week.

Here's the 318 torn down...

Got a bit of work done this weekend, used aircraft stripper to get most of the old paint off. Bondo'd most of the dents. Finishing up the body work on wed. the 4th cause I got the day off. Then she'll be ready for sealing and primer/paint. Didn't get a chance to take pics, but I'll snap some when I get home and post 'em up tonight.

Damn it, I keep forgetting to post the pics. Finished most of the body work yesterday, except where I have to move the car to get to. (my buddys '70 duster is blocking me in with a flat tire, which I keep telling him to fix and move) I'm going to make an effort to post those pics tonight! I'm building a paint booth in the back of my apt. building to start priming this weekend. Going to be a blast, lol. Just a little pvc frame with some 3 mil drop cloth and a blower. Anybody have any good experiences with a LVLP spray gun?

Ok, finally got some pics. Picked up pretty much everything I need to start painting except for the paint. I was lazy about finishing up the body work on the 4th of July, but I'm actually going to go do it right now. I'll post some more pics after I'm done...

From what I've found on FABO corresponding with these numbers is 1966 dart police/taxi /6 & V8?

Alright end of the weekend pic update. 96% ready to epoxy prime. Should be in her brand new coat of EP this weekend.

Body work, not bad for the first time, and doing it by myself. Thankfully the internet exists...
