I removed this column and steering wheel from my 1966 Coronet Deluxe 2-door sedan, 21 Body, as part of rebuilding the steering.
I am surprised to see that the steering wheel is marked 1966 Valiant
I realize the steering wheel is in bad condition
BH2255518, the part number on the steering wheel, does not show up in my 1966 Mopar Parts Book
Is this steering wheel from a 1966 Valiant?
I suspect 1966 B-body columns are different length than early A-body. True?
Thanks for your help!

A and B body columns are different length, both inner shaft and jacket. They also have a different inner shaft and coupler, P/S vs manual steering. As mentioned, the wheel is an A-body wheel. They swap around in those years, but, the offset can be different depending on the year and model. Swapping them can sometimes help with clearance depending on the size of the driver and how long their legs are.

Agree. 65Satelliteman on FBBO identified my column as correct for 1966 Coronet Deluxe with fawn tan interior. He thinks he has a correct steering wheel in stock, so I hope to have him restore it for me to matching color. I'm also waiting to see if my horn button and switch are correct. He will let me know.
