Looking to buy 273 valve covers for my 1967 Barracuda. Willing to pay for a nice driver quality set. Also looking for a stock AM working radio with knobs for the same car. Thanks for your time!

I believe I have a set of the valve covers off my 67 but I will have to post some photos here and let someone else who knows more be the judge. I am willing to let them go cheap!

well, here's what I have. They are missing the fins and definitely need some TLC. My car was originally a 273 but i bought with a 340 in it that had these valve covers on it. The car sat for 6 years so I am assuming that's when the moisture started pitting the inside of the covers.
They had the plug wires routed through little sections of fuel line and pressed into the holders. It was functional at least!

Basically just looking to cover shipping cost as I have no plans to use them or spend time hunting for the fins to make them look cool again.

Hopefully, someone else can find a good use for them.

Sparks,

I don't know if I have what you need but I will take pictures and post them for you before todays end. Where are you in PA - you may be close by.

I got these last year ... taking up space. I was told they are for small block Mopar and I have no need for them. They are NEW - Chrome -- if they would work for you let me know. This is the first time out of the wrapper. Might be a good Christmas present for you !!

Guys thanks for the pictures. I have valve covers on the car now, but was looking for the finned original covers. The motor is pretty original except the valve covers I have on it. Mobile Customs you have what I'm looking for, but I was looking for a set with the fins still on and ready to put on a driver car. 68Cuda, I'm in the Hershey area, so not too far from you. Thanks again for taking time to post what you have. Take care.

The ones I posted the photos of are now sold to another member here....fyi

Good luck with your hunt!

PM us. I do have a nice driver quality set of commando valve covers. I also have a radio. I'll need to check on the knobs.

Thank you.

Sorry but not Commando covers. The plug wire brackets are on the fins on the Commando covers and not spot welded like on yours. tmm

Thanks Rocky! :-D I've done a bunch of those over the years ... always a challenge, but a rewarding one when they're finished.

A friend has a set,125.00 shipped. Needs paint, had them sitting 30 years. If interested, send me a PM. (Also comes with the factory chrome breather.)
