1968 904 to 1965 273

Hi, I have a 1965 Barracuda with 1965 273. The input shaft on the transmission broke. I picked up a 1968 904 from a 318. Discovered hub on front of converter is larger on newer trans. Is there a torque converter on the market that takes larger shaft but has smaller hub?

None that I know of but a lot of companies can build you one. Try PTC. I know they do it and are reasonable priced.

can't tell where your located but I'm in Mass and have a 67 904 sitting in my carport
with convertor I would let you have cheap - was working when took it out, just took
a few things off of it. Shipping is too much nowadays

Thanks for the info. & trans offer. I am in Ohio, will check into converter to be made if no other set up is readily available.

I've bought from WITT. Their a good company and cheap. But unfortunately they only show the new larger spline, not the old one. That old stuff is getting hard to find.
