1968 Barracuda fastback cloning to 340 4 speed

My '69 340 blew a head gasket at 75k miles and been run hard up till then. Cylinders still had excellent cross hatch ect. 80k mile 340 engine should have lots of excellent life left in it.

Put steering box and power steering in today. Short day tomorrow clean up alternator and brackets put all new belts radiator fan and shroud.

Now if I could have saved the 69 in 2 months like I did this one converting everything to the 68 I would have saved it. But look how you can get things done with a real nice Donor.
No, not numbers matching but saved thousands and built an amazing 68 340-4 speed 3.55 suregrip air conditioned, power steering, power disc brake, tinted windows, spring special trim with headrests factory tach and 150 speedometer Rally gauges, 1968 factory Sable white with maroon interior. The best is yet to come…..
Stay tuned my fellow Mopar enthusiasts lol
